- Peinate que viene gente:: Excellent blog from a writer in Córdoba, my home town. Stories, and the unfinished best seller of all times. Also, Peinate is a printed magazine, and you can find it in Córdoba, Argentina. Yeah, make that trip to get the magazine, it’s worth the effort.

- ThinkWasabi: This Blog, will tell you anything related to Macintosh, mobile, tech and everything we geeks love. Why Wasabi? Because they are very, very spicy, and different.

- Fabio.com.ar: A blog from a great web designer (¿?). No, I don’t know I which category put him. Anyway, excelent site. You’ll find anything from tech, to daily things, always from Fabio’s fun point of view.

- DotPod: Is a very nice site. You can read news from around the world, and most of them are about tech. Very nice design.

La actitud de un grande

Bueno, se viene otro post solo en espaniol!

La verdad es que hace tiempo que tenía algo para decir con respecto a este asunto, pero no fue sino hasta leer que bastante gente piensa como yo, que me animé.

Se trata de la publicidad de Nalbandián para el Banco de Córdoba (mi provincia) la cual fue realizada por Brand & Media y producido por Malevo Films. He leído en varios blogs, como el de Flor, Peinate que viene gente y hasta en Infonegocios, que no ha gustado para nada la imagen que se usa de Nalbandián para la publicidad.

Aparte de que el spot televisivo podría mejorarse bastante (locución, textos, etc), la CARUCHA que ponen de Nalbandián al último es lamentable!! Una imagen vale + que mil palabras:

Disculpen la baja calidad del escaneado, la verdad es que no se merece mucha más calidad.

Ahora bien, esta imagen va con el slogan: “La actitud de un grande” en todas las cartelerías que hay en la ciudad. ¿Acaso los de la agencia no se dieron cuenta la cara de MUÑECAZO que tiene David en esta foto? Si, ya se que muchos van a decir: “nahh, pero es para que transmita simpatía, calidez, blah blah blah”.

Digo yo, para mí otras imágenes de David pueden representar la actitud de grande que tiene, sin destrozar su imagen, pegando esa cara de payaso por toda Córdoba. Vamos con algunas imágenes que YO, usaría:

Quizá esta es demasiado fuerte.

Se puede tomar como que está diciendo: “Tomá, para vos”.
Así le diría a los de la agencia publicitaria que hizo el aviso, una vez que usen mis ideas, jaja!

De todas maneras no deja de ser mejor que la imagen utilizada actualmente, jeje.

Vamos con otra:

Esta va mejorando. No tiene una actitud tan fuerte, sin embargo sale con el puño apretado, lo que puede tomarse como garra, empeño (cosas que mucha gente necesita hoy para, por ejemplo, pagar las cuotas hipotecarias del Banco de Córdoba, jeje)

La elegida:

Esta es la que usaría yo, sin duda. Sigue con el puño apretado que refiere a lo mencionado más arriba, pero además, hay cierta expresión de humildad en la cara de David, como diciendo: “Costó, pero lo logré. Dejé todo”. Transmite las dos cosas juntas. Fuerza, garra, calidez y humanidad en una sola imagen.

Y esto, solamente buscando en el Google, imágenes ya tomadas en torneos. Sin facturar una sesión de fotos grandiosa, sin Photoshop, ni nada.

First Superman Comic - Primer comic de Superman

Yes, this is the first comic of Superman, and you can find the complete number on Internet.

It’s nice to read this story from a original comic. I can see that they made Superman a lot older that what we can see on TV or movies.

Louis Lane have plenty more curves that in TV or movies, (nice), and Clark is a dork (as always).

Now, I watched Superman Returns and I think is one of the worst movies I’ve seen lately. No action, a lot of useless dialogues, and that annoying curl on Kent’s front head.

Sincerely, there is no better comic-related movie than XMEN!!

Green Day getting next album ready - Green Day preparando nuevo album

“On Monday, the band posted on GreenDay.com that it has put away the sunscreen and is hard at work on a brand new (and already hotly anticipated) album.”

Yeaaaaah!! Great! They are one of my favorite bands. Not because their last album; I follow these guys since they first album, with really acid punk songs and rocking riffs.

‘American Idiot’ was fine, too commercial for me, but boy, their previous albums are amazing. Dookie, Insomniac, Kerplunk and Nimrod and the rest are worth of losing your auditive skills because of your iPod’s volume.

Rolling Stone Cover - Tapa Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone Magazine, is making a poll trying to find their top favourite cover in Latin America.

This one really liked me, very original. Probably it’s not a music, but Bart Simpson is an icon of our generation, as well as Nirvana.

If I had to choose a cove with a musician, I’d choose this one, because Guns N Roses is my favourite band.

La Revista Rolling Stone, ha hecho una encuesta en su sitio, para elegir la tapa preferida en su edición latino americana, la cual lleva 100 números.

Esta me gustó mucho, es muy original. Quizá no sea un músico, pero Bert Simpson es un ícono de nuestra generación, al igual que la banda Nirvana.

Si tuviera que elegir una tapa con un músico en ella, probablemente eligiría esta, ya que mi banda favorita es Guns N Roses.

Zune: That’s it? - Zune: ¿Eso es todo?

Via Gizmologia. I can’t believe this is Zune.

I can’t.
Compared to iPod, it looks like an old radio receiver. I was expecting something else from Microsoft. Many people will think that I was wasting my time… but seeing what they have done with XBOX 360, maybe there was a chance they could do something better with Zune.
But I think not. Maybe I was expecting too mucho from Microsoft.

Anyway, something positive we can get from this is that there is a WiFi module inside Zune (see pictures in Gizmologia), something they were saying it wasn’t going to be there.

No puedo creer que esto es el Zune.

Comparado al iPod, parece una vieja radio. Esperaba más de los muchachos de Microsoft. Muchas personas pensarán que estaba perdiendo el tiempo, o que pensaba errado, pero viendo lo que lograron con la XBOX 360, a lo mejor existía alguna posibilidad de que hicieran algo mejor con Zune.
Pero parece que no. Quizás esperaba demasiado de Microsoft.

De todas maneras, algo positivo a rescatar de todo esto es que según las fotos en Gizmologia, Zune posee un módulo de WiFi, algo que se había dicho que el repdroductor no iba a poseer.

Editing images Online - Edición de imágenes Online

Too much time without posting anything. I’m very busy these days, you know.

One of the things that I was looking last week was a nice Online image editor, but I couldn’t remember any review about one. So, I made this review.

I visited 4 sites, and I must tell you, they are damn good, but only 2 of them cached my eye:
PXN8 and Snipshot.

Nice design, very clean, and handy toolbar at your left (just like many pro image-editing tools out there).

You can apply some effects to your image, and the most basic functions like zoom in/out, sharp, brightness, crop, resize, rotate and contrast. Edit your pic (from a file, or URL) and then save it (hard disk or upload to Flickr). Very nice site… I want to see what they’re cooking for next release!!

Clean design too. In the first page, you can select your image (from a URL, your PC or use a sample pic). Then, the site upload the image, and take you to a second page, where you can select what do you want to do with the pic (resize, crop, rotate and adjust). Then, you can save the pic to your PC (as GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG, PSD, TIF) or to a Flickr collection. The logo of Snipshot used here was edited right there. (It was too big, hehe). Okay this is really weird. Americans are making a big deal out of this. “Privacy invasion ” they say, and I can agree with them. But why, why the creators of this machine don’t try to use another system than showing my parts to the security people?
Why don’t they just show if there is anything “hidden” on my pants, instead of showing my body to someone else? Blur right on the areas where nothing is showing?
I think that would solve this whole mess!!

Bueno, esto es realmente raro. Los Norteamericanos están haciendo un escándalo mayúsculo de esto. “Invasión de la privacidad” dicen ellos, y puedo apoyarlos.
Ahora bien, ¿por qué, por qué los creadores de esta máquina no tratan de usar otro sistema en vez de mostrar mis partes a la gente de seguridad?
¿Por qué no solamente mostrar si hay algo “escondido” entre mi ropa, en vez de mostrar mi cuerpo completo a alguien más? ¿Desenfoque en el área donde no se detecta nada?
