I was reading this article, and it’s great.

You can translate this like:

“Needed: Expert in Dreamweaver+Crack Full”

This is a very original job posting, and actually made me remember one I received a couple of days ago.

In English would be something like:

“Engineer in ladiezz”. I wanna be an engineer in that!!

——————–

Too much time without posting anything. I’m very busy these days, you know.

One of the things that I was looking last week was a nice Online image editor, but I couldn’t remember any review about one. So, I made this review.

I visited 4 sites, and I must tell you, they are damn good, but only 2 of them cached my eye:
PXN8 and Snipshot.

Nice design, very clean, and handy toolbar at your left (just like many pro image-editing tools out there).

You can apply some effects to your image, and the most basic functions like zoom in/out, sharp, brightness, crop, resize, rotate and contrast. Edit your pic (from a file, or URL) and then save it (hard disk or upload to Flickr). Very nice site… I want to see what they’re cooking for next release!!

Clean design too. In the first page, you can select your image (from a URL, your PC or use a sample pic). Then, the site upload the image, and take you to a second page, where you can select what do you want to do with the pic (resize, crop, rotate and adjust). Then, you can save the pic to your PC (as GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG, PSD, TIF) or to a Flickr collection. The logo of Snipshot used here was edited right there. (It was too big, hehe). (more…)

“According to the survey of anonymous, aggregated data from more than 10 million Plaxo members worldwide, Argentina led Plaxo’s Connected Index with an average of 479 contacts per address book.”

Well, one thing we are above every first world’s countries! Now, what this exactly means? That we are more sociable? Could it be that we forgot to clean our contact lists and we hold hundreds of contacts we never use?
Anyway, it’s nice to see that we have a spotlight on the tech news!!

This Week's VideoOkay this is really weird. Americans are making a big deal out of this. “Privacy invasion ” they say, and I can agree with them. But why, why the creators of this machine don’t try to use another system than showing my parts to the security people?
Why don’t they just show if there is anything “hidden” on my pants, instead of showing my body to someone else? Blur right on the areas where nothing is showing?
I think that would solve this whole mess!!

Check it:

——————-

“Women trying to control the sudden and seemingly irrepressible Urge to get to the bathroom need only to vigorously scratch the back of their leg.”

The thing is that by doing this, you block the signal that your brain sends, so you can have extra seconds to finish whatever you’re doing, and then go to the toilet.

I’ll try it, and I will let you know if it worked or not. Please, you do the same!

Cool site. In short terms: here is where you can bitch about your boss.

Also, you will find a lot of other who feel the same way you do, and you can rank how ‘a-hole’ their boss is.

Please, if you are my boss, I AM NOT REGISTERED INTO THIS SITE!!

Buen sitio.

This week I’m going to review both podcasts together because there isn’t too much content there.

This Week In Tech

So, let’s start with TWiT (Episode 66: A Little Dab’ll Do Ya):

  • PC World has listed the 25 greatest computers of all time.
And the number 1 resulted to be a Macintosh!!? I have to agree with Dvorak: that’s LAME!!
  • New research states that smarter older people tend to be cranky.
Now we can understand why Dvorak is one of the Cranky Geeks.
  • Items confiscated at Pennsylvania airports are being sold on eBay.
What the hell is wrong with these people? Selling confiscated stuff? Man, and I thought my country was corrupted!!
  • Windows Vista is nearing their first release candidate, and will reinstate their customer preview program.
Is there any person who will try this? I mean, I’d wait until the soft is fully released and preinstalled on PC’s that I can buy. PLUS… what I’ve seen isn’t that cool.
  • This past year, Microsoft has broken their patch records.
What would be nice, I don’t know, maybe I’m insane for saying this… (more…)
