El Piojo me pasa unos datos que a más de uno del área de IT en Córdoba le va a interesar: Intel está buscando llenar posiciones laborales en su sucursal cordobesa.

Supuestamente están dirigidas a aquellos egresados del IUA (Instituto Universitario Aeronáutico), pero no creo que si alguien con un perfil que se ajuste mande.. no lo vayan a entrevistar.

Titulo del profesional demandado: Ingeniero en Sistemas / Ingeniero en Telecomunicaciones
Nombre del puesto: Senior Testing Engineer
Especificaciones del puesto (tareas y funciones): In this position, you will be fully responsible for planning, implementing and conducting software testing activities for different applications, platforms and environments to meet company needs. You will be using a variety of computer programming languages and applications, working in teams with other professionals, or alone.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for creating software quality plans, software test plans, schedules and documenting tests and reporting results
- Designing, implementing, documenting and validating test cases for testing new software programs to identify and report software defects
- Defining and configuring testing environments based on requirements
- Overseeing the evaluation and implementation of functional testing engagements, including infrastructure, network and test harness configurations
- Handling feedback and error reports from external users
- Evaluating and implementing performance testing tools for simulation and monitor and/or evaluation of system performance
- Working with several computer coding languages for testing automation

- Maintaining regression testing frameworks and proposing areas for improvements
- Working closely with other staff, consulting clients and/or colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and asking questions to obtain information, clarify details and implement information
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
- Responsible for problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project

Qualifications
You should possess a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology degree or equivalent with more than five years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree with more than one year experience, or a Ph.D. with or without experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Hands-on experience in object oriented design, object oriented development techniques, algorithm design and coding
- Hands-on experience in software development tools and software testing tools.
- Mastery in at least one of the following languages: C and/or C++, Java*, and C#
- Software development experience in Windows* and/or Linux* operating systems
- Hands-on expertise in two or more in the following areas: Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Web Services, Application Servers (for example, J2EE*), XML related technologies (for example, XSLT, XML Schema, XML Security, and others), computer security, and performance optimization
- Strong results orientation
- A good communicator (in Spanish and English)
- Capability of doing independent work
- Experience working under Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and/or ISO* software quality regime would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of hardware architectures and assembly programming skills would be an added advantage

- Researching, designing, writing and testing new software programs.
- Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
- Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects, investigating new technologies.
- Creating technical specifications and test plans.
- Working with computer coding languages.
- Working closely with other staff, consulting clients and/or colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and asking questions to obtain information, clarify details and implement information.
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
- Responsible for problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
