Yeah, too good to be true.

So, in few words:

“On August 23rd Starbucks sent out an email to some of its Atlanta employees and business partners inviting them to enjoy a free coffee. The email said they could forward it to a few family and friends as well”

And that’s where everything went to hell. WOMM, Word of Mouth Marketing guys. Didn’t you know about that?

Thousands and thousands of people went to Starbucks for their free coffee.

And yes, Starbucks had to cancel the promotion, saying that the wider-than-expected redistribution altered the intent of the promotion. (more…)

Okay. This is AMAZING!

How in the name of God did they find this place?

Most of all, where the hell the people in charge of security is?

No matter how they did it, on thing is sure: COOL!

They went to Hawaii for a vacations, and they didn’t have a better idea than search for Lost set, and take a look around.

See the rest of the pics on their Flickr photo set.

Bien.

“Ok, vamos. Pedí los boletos y llevá el mate”.

El resto de las fotos dicen todo.

No, she’s not a model.

No, she ain’t a musician either.

No, she didn’t appear on a movie.

She is Martina Gallo, and she is Julian Gallo’s daughter.

Julian is a blogger (a great one), and he wanted to remember his daughter birthday in a very special way.

I read his post, and I thought it was one of the best that I’ve read last week.

He showed he was a blogger, waaay before the Net. He kept a notebook with all the things he needed to be done.

One of those things was buy baby’s stuff, because his daughter Martina was born. He also drew a sketch of his daughter sleeping in her bed.

“5.23 AM.: Martina was born!”

11.10 – “I have Martina in my arms for the first time”

Agoust 31 – 11:54 AM – “Martina is out in the street for the first time.”

And he finished his post in this way:

“Today have been 19 years from that morning.”

Just excelent. (more…)

Just one post today. Too much things to read. And a lot of work too.

This week’s video comes from MTV VMA’s.

It’s one of the best performances of the night, and guess what: no one is singing.

Yes, we all know that today music is crap, so that’s why this is the only thing that saved last night show.

Enjoy!

—————–

Disfrutenla!

Today BlogDay, so we have to recommend 5 blogs to the world.

Here are my 5 cents:

Peinate que viene gente:: Excellent blog from a writer in Córdoba, my home town. Stories, and the unfinished best seller of all times. Also, Peinate is a printed magazine, and you can find it in Córdoba, Argentina. Yeah, make that trip to get the magazine, it’s worth the effort.

ThinkWasabi: This Blog, will tell you anything related to Macintosh, mobile, tech and everything we geeks love. Why Wasabi? Because they are very, very spicy, and different.

Fabio.com.ar: A blog from a great web designer (¿?). No, I don’t know I which category put him. Anyway, excelent site. You’ll find anything from tech, to daily things, always from Fabio’s fun point of view.

DotPod: Is a very nice site. You can read news from around the world, and most of them are about tech. Very nice design.

NetAdBlog: Advertising? Marketing strategies? All related to ads and marketing can be found here, a very nice site from the creator of Uberbin.net. (more…)

(more…)

Yes, this is the first comic of Superman, and you can find the complete number on Internet.

It’s nice to read this story from a original comic. I can see that they made Superman a lot older that what we can see on TV or movies.

Louis Lane have plenty more curves that in TV or movies, (nice), and Clark is a dork (as always).

Now, I watched Superman Returns and I think is one of the worst movies I’ve seen lately. No action, a lot of useless dialogues, and that annoying curl on Kent’s front head.

Sincerely, there is no better comic-related movie than XMEN!!

Today is a musical day.

I’ve been listening a new CD the whole day, and it’s time to let you know what I think about it.

“On Monday, the band posted on GreenDay.com that it has put away the sunscreen and is hard at work on a brand new (and already hotly anticipated) album.”

Yeaaaaah!! Great! They are one of my favorite bands. Not because their last album; I follow these guys since they first album, with really acid punk songs and rocking riffs.

‘American Idiot’ was fine, too commercial for me, but boy, their previous albums are amazing. Dookie, Insomniac, Kerplunk and Nimrod and the rest are worth of losing your auditive skills because of your iPod‘s volume.

Although there is no release date, nor even title, things are very hot about this new material, which they said will be “an event, not just a standard LP”. (more…)
